Adult Small Groups

Most people agree that it is important to teach our children about the Bible and to help them grow in their faith.  But, it is just as important for adults.  Learning doesn’t stop just because you turn 18. Ken Mawr Presbyterian Church offers several Sunday morning adult groups where you will be welcomed and made to feel a part of the community of faith.  Check out the current list of groups that will begin meeting this fall.

ADULT: Sunday morning opportunities - 9:45 - 10:40

Cornerstone - What we believe as Christians is a part of our everyday

lives. It is interwoven in the reasons behind all that we say and do. The

Bible is ‘His’-story, Jesus' story. Come join us in a study of Luke’s

gospel. The class will meet in the third room on the left in the youth

hallway. Leader: Tony Cario

Koinonia Class - Sabbath: The Gift of Rest,

What is the sabbath? A weekly day of rest and worship. A day to

rejoice in abundance. A day to practice thankfulness. Come and

discover God. Upstairs to the left of Pastor Karl’s office. Leaders:

Bucky Savatt and Diane Haney

New Vision - This class meets in Friendship Room downstairs and will

be studying the Gospel of John. Lovingly begun by Kathy Gadsby, this

class seeks to study scripture by helping God’s word to be available

for all learners. Leader: Kathy Gadsby

Spiritual Journaling - Bring your favorite Bible, a pen, a journal, an

open mind and heart. Meeting in the Memorial room. Leader: Susan

Marcinko

Woven Women - More Than a Carpenter

“More Than a Carpenter by Josh McDowell has become a significant

evangelistic tool. It seeks to answer profound questions about who

Jesus is and what he means to humanity. Downstairs in the library.
